Well I have had a GREAT weekend. My sister came in town and had 3 baby showers! She got almost everything she needs for baby Harper! She looks great, and she is feeling good. We did have a scare a few weekends ago where me and mom went to AL because we thought she had appendicitis and that was scary. It ended up just being a kidney infection.
Daniel and I worked on our floors for 25 days! We finally got the stain concrete (90%) done for the shower! Like 2 days before, that was nerve-racking! lol.
Work is going GREAT, I am loving my new position at work but it is very hard, and a lot to learn!... but I am hanging in there. I got an A in my business law class! WWHOO HOO! I am not normally an A student so this is very exciting :)
Daniel starts school tomorrow and he is sooooo excited. He has been ready for this for about a year. Kyle just finished this past week and now he is going to work for uncle Scott, so fun.
MY MOM turns 50 this THURSDAY! I can't believe it! I wish she was feeling better, the Dr's now think she has carpel tunnel on top of everything else. She is in pain all the time.

Well, I guess I need a new post since I am telling everyone else to post!

We have had a busy couple of weeks. We are in the process of ripping up our carpet on the 1st floor and next week we are going to sand and stain the concrete. I am very excited to get the nasty carpet out.

Today was the last day of working for my boss... Next Tuesday I start training for a new position at work and I am very excited. I do have mixed emotions... I will miss everyone, but there are things, of course, that will will NOT miss, so all in all, change is good and I am happy.

My sister is 6 months along in her pregnancy and we have her 1st shower at my house this month! I can't wait :) Invites are out and I have LOTS of work to do on the floors before everyone gets to my house. Daniel is the most wonderful husband, he amazes me all the time. I am still trying to get used to him working nights, I think it will take longer than expected. That's ok though. We have LOTS of birthday's this month :)

Allie, Taylor, Daniel, Ashley W, and my momma! My mom is turning 50 Sept 30th and I just can't believe how much better she has been doing with her food/smoking/walking. I am so proud of all her hard work. it is paying off. There are still some issues with her arms, she has sharp pain in her arms and we aren't really sure why. She does have a Dr. apt tomorrow.

My in-laws are out of town on a TWO week adventure. I can't wait to hear all about their trip and see some pictures! ... I am not even really sure where all they are going, but I know it is somewhere COLD!!

My dad has done an AMAZING job on their floors, they laid pergo and its beautiful. We have been going to movies lately and that's been so much fun!

The BROWN countdown continues.... 19 month's till Daniel is done with school and can apply at Ft. Rucker and we can move! PRAYING for this to work out!!!

So this is my sweet boxer Roxy walking on a LOOSE leash. Yes, this may not look like a big deal to some... but for me this is HUGE NEWS! She is doing so good with the training, I am very happy with the collar that we got her. Snow ball is bouncing all over the place and she isn't even trying to run after her. Very exciting in our family.

This week, Daniel started working nights and it is some what of an adjustment for me. Nights meaning second shift... so not really night. He will get home around 10:00 each night and go into school at 7:00am each morning. Going to be a rough time for him but I am so proud and we are one day closer to our goal -- finishing school and moving to Dothan, AL with my sister and brother-in-law. REALLY what we want to do..

I got an A in my first class at Ellis, Fall term has already begun and I am loving my Business Law class... lets see how long my motivation lasts ;-)

Big news!

Aubrey and Jon are having a baby girl! Their reveal party was last saturday but I was out of town and couldn't be there == so I got to find out early! Such an exciting time. Her mother in law and sister in law did a great job on the party. The deco was so festive and adorable. I also got a CD full of pictures from them, which was so sweet. This is such fun times. Next we will be working on SHOWERS!

On another note -- Roxy's leash training is going awesome! Im very very very happy about that because a Boxer out of control is NOT good.

I start my new fall classes on Sunday so this week off Im resting up and doing A LOT of cleaning around the house. Wellllll rest not so much.

Saturday: work and Bunco
Sunday: hallow him meeting and birthday dinner for melanie

So forget the rest -- but I AM cleaning :)

Life has been great since Jan 1, 2010.

March 10th my mother had a heart attack. On March 18th my mother had a second heart attack... So that was a shock I wasn't prepared for. Praise God after 2 months of tests and trail and error and 8 ER visits later, she is doing great as of JULY of this year.

I have lost 27 lbs since February 2, 2010 -==- few more to go and I will be at a healthy weight for my age/height. It's been a hard fun long process but eating the right combinations of food to maximize the weight loss process WORKS. Believe me.

I found out on April 12, my sister is PREGNANT! I am so excited! I can't even begin to describe.

July 19, I started back to school at Ellis University working towards my bachelors degree in Business Management.

I start a new position at work on September 7, and in training for 4 weeks. I'm very excited to do something new.

Daniel starts aircraft mechanic school on September 28.

Roxy baby was spayed this month and she's still not moving totally AS fast as she was -- which honestly, is a blessing. BUT Snowball is having bladder troubles. Still monitoring that.

I am on 2 church projects. Daniel & I help teach the 5&6 graders at our church and I do the games and we have a program called Grapple -=- pretty much an online community just for our class. Its very neat. I am the "go to" person for that. I am also the committee leader for our Fall Festival at church called HallowHIM and we are well into the planning process for that.

Currently my favorite song is Jewel - Satisfied.
